Brianna Bates
Brianna graduated from Langara college and is happy to be able to provide therapeutic massage to the public. Through massage, she hopes to relieve pain and/or tension, promote relaxation and maintain and improve physical function! She enjoys utilizing, but is not limited to: Myofascial Release, Swedish, active and passive stretching, trigger point release and joint mobilization. Each treatment is individualized for each person’s presentation and personal goals!
Brianna loves sharing her knowledge and comprehension of the human body and muscles! She has spent most of her youth playing sports, which has given her a good understanding of injuries. School has further taught her how she can treat many of those conditions and more! She has experience treating a variety of individuals and conditions, including providing care for the elderly, youth, individuals with spinal cord injuries, athletes, those with different pain tolerances, TMJ concerns, headaches and those post surgery looking for rehabilitation. She looks forward to being able to continue her education within this field!

Octavia Lau
Octavia grew up in Vancouver, Canada, where her passion for movement and sport began as a competitive swimmer. As a former Canadian national team member, she has competed at events such as the Olympic swimming trials, and represented her country in the World Junior Open Water Championships. Continuing her athletic career at the collegiate level, Octavia competed as a Division 1 athlete for the University of Michigan’s Women’s Swim & Dive Team while earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Movement Science Kinesiology.
As a BCAK-certified kinesiologist, Octavia specializes in hydrotherapy, injury rehabilitation, prehabilitation, and strength and conditioning strategies. Her work focuses on helping individuals identify and address the root causes of movement inefficiencies or pain, empowering them to return to the activities they love and perform at their best.
Octavia leverages her personal experience as a competitive swimmer, running enthusiast, and hybrid athlete to inspire and guide patients of all fitness levels. Her holistic approach integrates advanced knowledge in biomechanics with her elite athletic background to deliver practical, patient-centered care.

Katie MacPherson MPT, 06840
With a keen interest in team sports, Katie grew up playing soccer, softball and field hockey. Finding field hockey to be her true love, she found herself playing at the University of British Columbia while completing her Bachelor of Human Kinetics (2008) and Masters of Physical Therapy (2010). She continues to play in the Vancouver Women’s Field Hockey League.
Katie strives to provide the best care for her clients through lifelong learning and continuing education. She is certified by the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (2013), is a Certified Chan Gunn IMS Practitioner (2015), is trained in vestibular rehabilitation, has achieved her Level 3 Manual Therapy with the Orthopedic Division (2015). and is currently pursuing further education in women’s health including pre/post-partum rehabilitation and active living through menopause.
Katie believes that understanding one’s injury, anatomy and rehab plan plays a significant role in recovery. Her treatment approach incorporates a balance of manual therapy, IMS, acupuncture, personalized exercise programs and a healthy dose of education to facilitate recovery and prevent future injuries.

Megan Notting MPT, 10378
Megan grew up playing rep soccer before focusing on Cross Country and Track & Field. She found her stride as a 400m hurdler and competed on the NCAA Track & Field team at Simon Fraser University while earning her Bachelor of Science degree in Kinesiology. Following this, she completed her Masters degree in Physical Therapy at the University of British Columbia.
Megan has furthered her education by becoming a certified IMS practitioner and taking courses in Advanced Orthopaedic Manual and Manipulative Therapy, McKenzie low back treatment, and Mulligan concepts. She enjoys working with a wide variety of individuals, with a focus in treating runners, sports injuries, post-surgical rehabilitation, and pre/post-partum rehabilitation.
In her practice, Megan integrates her expertise in musculoskeletal and neurological injuries with her first-hand experience as an athlete to provide her clients with the highest level of care. She aims to help each client understand the root cause of their injury or pain and collaborates with them to create a comprehensive treatment plan that will allow them to return to the activities they enjoy and meet their goals!

Amanda Zacharuk MscPT - 11276
Amanda was born and raised in New Westminster. She always led an active lifestyle participating in dance, volleyball, track, javelin, and competing at a provincial level in basketball. Amanda dedicated many hours to rehabilitation to overcome various sport-related injuries. She completed her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser University with a focus in Active Health and Rehabilitation. Amanda went on to obtain her Master of Science in Physiotherapy from McMaster University. She continues to be active now, and can be found attending fitness classes at the təməsew̓txʷ Aquatic and Community Center!
Passionate about lifelong learning, Amanda has completed Level One of the advanced orthopaedic manual therapy certifications with the Canadian Physiotherapy Association, and is working towards Level Two. She is also undertaking further training in vestibular rehabilitation.
Amanda has experience working with individuals of all ages and abilities. Her treatment style focuses on personalized exercise prescription, education, and manual therapy. She utilizes a client-centered and evidence-based approach to help patients reach their goals and return to the activities that they love.

Antonio Zenone MPT - 07090
Antonio grew up playing sports from a young age resulting in a passion for physical health. He played soccer for Langara College before transferring to UBC to complete both his Bachelor of Human Kinetics (2009) and his Masters of Physical Therapy (2011).
Learning didn’t stop for Antonio after University. He is a Certified Sports Physiotherapist through Sports Physiotherapy Canada (2017), is a certified Gunn IMS Practitioner (2016) and is certified in neuroanatomical acupuncture through the Acupuncture Foundation of Canada Institute (AFCI) (2013). With a special interest in concussion and vestibular rehabilitation, he holds certifications in both, and also provides concussion baseline testing. Having suffered a traumatic knee injury in soccer during his college years, Antonio’s desire to help other athletes return to sport is unmatched. His treatment approach is personalized, focusing on education and exercise prescription. He is proud to have supported many teams and athletes, from the Hyacks Football team and players, many gymnastics and trampoline athletes, and weekend warriors.
